I used graph paper to draw out the design I wanted. I put together a bill of materials... at least a start of one. I ended up adding to it many times over the course of the build. This also included finding sources for different parts and estimating a cost for each part. My original budget was about $3,200 but as you will see in the Bill of Materials I went way over that and ended up at almost $5,000.
I later changed the design to use the same 24" radius on the front and the back.
